                                              ❝How’d ye know?❞

The archer treated this little game of hide & go seek
more or less like a hunt. Her pace was slow, making sure
not to make any movements that would make her brothers
scurry away. She listened for any noises that didn’t fit any
of the creatures that lived in the woods, her eyes carefully
watching, alert, for the triplets. Merida had the urge to
pull out a bow & arrow, wanting to hunt anything at this
                               point.
❝They couldn’ have gotten ‘n too
deep. They no better than tha’,
especially with ou’ a weapon t’
                                                 protect ‘em.❞

                    ❝Hah, lucky guess—-❞

Her response is more or less an accurate answer, for it was just a guess somewhat born from both personal experience and prior knowledge. They seem mischievous enough, after all– at least… based off word of ear, that is. Spare would hence follow the dame’s lead, a second glance of her own thrown in attempt to locate adolescences.

It’s not long until faint chuckles are heard; and the familiar sound of rustling leaves are haste in following.

❝That wouldn’t happen to be them, could it?❞
