Struck by persistence in the form of words, elegance would grasp with delicate fingers at an opposite palm, so smooth at surface. Widened do crystallized waters appear, so vibrant in their glowing hue, and brows of worry, darker than rest, would furrow only slightly in skyward’s advance. A hushed hiccup-like gasp falls from the magenta that graces lips with its insisting color. Expression leaves features in worry, hands gripped tight about one another, and realization would pierce noble’s heart.
“Anna… I—”
Vision diverts from one’s gaze to the hands held so firmly within each other, and astonishment is apparent across one’s emotion. A heavy bar is set upon such a frail heart, only to be lifted only slightly in the moment that face is scarred with the trails of trickling streams, still even in this moment, fall from red-stricken optics, only now the tears fall, hopeful that somehow, someway possibilities would remain and desires could be met.
“Thank you… I’m— I’m sorry.”
“I didn’t mean this. I didn’t mean any of this… and somehow—”
Somehow you’re still here.
“I’m going to trust you.”
Relief is immediate, and a wholehearted grin is haste in tugging at spare’s lips. Though more so does a sense of joy spread throughout dame’s being, for elder is allowing interaction once more—-there’s a possibility, right? –A possibility that she’ll no longer be shut out of her sister’s life. That’s all she’s ever wanted; a way to crush the loneliness which constantly plagues her, and now that dream seems more so a reality than it had even a moment before.
❝Thank you… I–I promise you won’t regret this!❞
There’s almost a bounce in her movement due to the excitement that gradually coils, and she is hardly able to contain herself as she only maintains distance for the elder’s own comfort.
❝But… what happened?
Y'Know, your powers. I mean—- they’re cool! But–I, uh.
Has it always been like this?❞
Despite her efforts of holding tongue does curiosity nearly seep from the younger’s very being. She doesn’t remember a chilling atmosphere—-at least, not in a literal sense, and she certainly doesn’t recall even events such as this unfolding amongst the time that she hadn’t been shut out. Had their parents known? –And if so, why had she been the only one kept in the dark on the matter? The thought stung, though she’d contain those inquires for the time being. Rather does she long to understand her sister and her motives for self-confinement.
