—— ♘; } The smile curving onto Anna’s face is nearly contagious, tiers of the soldier curved to a similar simper though it’s a brief expression whilst she shuts the front door.
❝ Hope’s at work and I don’t work on weekends — I have no plans. Really Anna, it’s fine. ❞
There’s a palm motioning towards the couch, indicating that the other is permitted to take a seat while Lightning retrieves the desired beverage.
❝ I’m not Serah, but I’ll try to not disappoint. ❞ A light hearted joke accompanied with a subtle laugh as Lightning retrieves a glass and fills it with ice. ❝ Did the two of you have plans? ❞ An inquiry as the soldier approaches Anna, the glass filled with the ice and water before she takes a seat beside the other.

A nod is gestured, and she’s oddly polite though that is more or less accounted for due to both elder’s position in workplace as well as the fact that they aren’t too much acquainted with one another. Such is not so much apart of the dame’s person, however, and thus mannerism could only last for so long.
❝No, no–it’s fine. We haven’t spoken much before…
this is a chance for us to become better friends.❞
She speaks with assurance in the matter, a lighthearted expression spreading unto features as seat is comfortably taken. Gratitude is first expression however, a light nod as palm extends for drink offered prior.
—— ♘; } There’s subtle laughter evident, nothing she’d been able to restrain upon the young female’s inquiry. ❝ Serah lives a few blocks over, but she’s at a meeting for the school. ❞ An appendage grips at the knob of the door whilst she pulls gently, holding it open for the other to allow entrance into the abode. A smile is graced onto countenance, one not seen so easily, yet the simple acts of the other dame is just subtle reminders of the Farron’s younger sister.
` I can definitely see how they’re friends. `
❝ Iwouldn’t want you to have ran all the way over here for nothing. You’re welcome to come in. ❞ Fixation onto the individual occurs, a welcoming mien put up — something she could do simply because of the good mood she’d been in that day — before speaking once more.
❝ Icould get you a glass of water, if you like. ❞

Disappointment is evident as it spreads unto dame’s features, though it’s only brief as expression is haste in allowing a grin to tug at the lips. It’d seem everyone was bound to their own duties, the spare seemingly an outcast in that sense as she’s failed to find proper work to occupy free time. No matter, though, for it wasn’t as if work had completely stolen time from her companions–and the soldier certainly seemed willing to spare some of her own time.
❝You’re not busy?❞
An empty query, for heels have already begun motioning inward familiar’s dwelling. Cerulean hues thus peer room’s walls, attention divided slightly though following regards proved able in grasping attention.
—— ♘; } Weekends always brought upon a sense of leisure, somewhat like a break from all the business and stress from work throughout the week. Usually, said days had a calmness about them unlike any other; they were enjoyed, thoroughly, and spent allowing ones self regenerate, relax, and simply spend time with loved ones — or at least, that was Lightning’s case.
Yet the knocking on the door had been of surprise — no expectancy of visitors, and if it were her beloved returning, he’d simply walk in. The trip from the sofa to the door was short, feet padding on the cool tile before a palm twisted the metal knob, the wooden surface moving on it’s hinges to allow the woman to view her guest.
“ — Anna? ” Curiosity as to why the young dame had appeared at said threshold remained a mystery — usually Anna made efforts to strengthen bonds with Serah, though they were all meetings the pairs of siblings had together at Lightning’s home, it was strange to see Anna arrive unplanned. Still, the door was held open for the acquaintance, a grin mustered onto features.
“ Didn’t expect to see you today. ”

Certainly not a disappointment, as she who treads in response to spare’s knocking is companion’s sibling herself. A grin hastily spreads unto dame’s features in greeting, optimism clearly fuel as she’s certain that soldier may at least be able of pointing her in the direction of the dame that she seeks. However, she is not all too familiar with the soldier–the limited information that she has retained given to her by the younger herself.
❝–Sorry,
didn’t think I’d have any free time today. Sooo…
I figured I’d just stop by!❞
There are slight huffs between words; thus both speech and posture providing evidence that she had come in a rush. Though, said rush was born only from the excitement which emitted once learning that the day had no other plans scheduled.
❝It’s nice to see you and all, but–
You wouldn’t happen to have seen Serah around lately, have you?❞
Avidity takes comfort in dame’s actions as heels maneuver ever so naturally towards familiar’s home. It’s an odd time of day–the sun risen though a majority of town’s citizens laid in slumber even now. Spare too would often lay comfortably beneath wool long past this time… yet, an eager sense sends her marching towards companion’s home in hopes of a lively morning.
Travels thus lead her positioned only inches beyond household’s barrier; comfort amongst said companion nearly bringing digits to impulsively turn knob to a dwelling not her own, but mind’s outcry reminds her that other’s sibling may not appreciate an unwelcome entering. Hence do digits curl, a fist hastily formed and almost immediately coming down upon timber.
